Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Driving key components of Excel across all platforms (Windows; Web; Mac; iOS; Android) 
  • Drive and communicate the project plan, coordinating with partners across engineering, design, planning and marketing 
  • Build a deep customer network to understand needs and issues, and ensure the effectiveness of engineering investments. 
  • Manage, coach, and grow a team of 5-8 PMs with a broad range of experiences (entry level to Principal) and strengths (deep technically as well as great at creating delightful user experiences) 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience defining and delivering collaborative end user software experiences used by a large customer base.
  • 3+ years of experience of managing teams of 5 of more people including growing Senior/Principal level talent. 
  • A proven track record of analytical thinking and teamwork, with experience working effectively across organizational boundaries in large companies. 
  • Exceptional communication skills including speaking effectively to executives as well as customers.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to our software engineering projects to deliver well-defined products and services that generate immediate value to the CSE organization.
  • Collaborate with team members on all kinds of different technologies to support CSE projects.
  • Continuously build your technical knowledge to drive excellence in engineering as a cohesive, efficient, and productive unit.
  • In CSE, the Senior software engineering role is 80% hands-on and rest will be focusing on architecture & design, upskilling, mentoring the team.

Qualifications

We are seeking people who have experience which reflect the qualifications below:

Required Qualifications: 

  • 6+ years of experience shipping or running production systems and/or software, including complex production systems that run on a public cloud.
  • 4+ years of experience writing/debugging software in languages ​​such as C#, Javascript/Typescript and Powershell.
  • 2+ years of experience building out scalable services, API’s, connecting many software systems to create complex software services.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Strong service delivery experience including architecture and coding, and ideally building cloud services.
  • Experience working within and directing geographically dispersed, diverse, and virtual teams.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or the equivalent

This role is remote eligible within the United States; however, candidates will be expected to work primarily within Pacific time standard business hours.
