We are seeking a passionate & dynamic Technical Program Manager to join our team of enthusiastic TPMs, who are responsible for spearheading the entire software development lifecycle and rolling out of new cloud services on our growing list of Cloud Data centers.

You have hands-on 5+ years of experience driving Technical Program Management for enterprise software products, preferably for cloud services.

– You have in-depth understanding of product development and software engineering practices. Prior experience in a technical role preferred, such as software development.

– You have led large and complex multi-disciplinary programs, across several cross functional teams.

You’d be managing and tracking cross functional dependencies, risks and changes effectively by optimizing scope and schedule to deliver complex projects in a dynamic and agile environment.

You will define project scope, plan and direct schedules while focusing on regular and timely high-quality delivery; organize and lead project status and working meetings; brainstorm and lead course correction. You are a self-starter technical leader with a proven ability to execute both strategically and tactically.

The Oracle Autonomous Database JDBC team that is responsible for the development of Java libraries related to the Oracle Database and especially the Autonomous Transaction Processing database in the Oracle Cloud.  This team of systems engineers develops tools and libraries for Java Developers (used internally and externally) to leverage the Oracle Database on premise and Oracle Cloud. We work not only on the JDBC drivers and UCP but also on the Reactive Stream Ingestion library, Application Continuity, the Kubernetes operator, the R2DBC driver, etc.

We are searching for a Principal Member of Technical Staffto contribute to the integration of Oracle with Spring, hibernate, the reactive programming libraries and develop and write the plugins for Eclipse and Intellij. Most of these projects will be Open Source.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Open Source projects, plugins, R2DBC
  • Design libraries to facilitate Cloud deployments of Java applications

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years Java or C++ system development experience required
