BiggerPockets is seeking an innovative Head of Product to drive the technology vision and strategy for the company. The successful Head of Product candidate will be a highly strategic technology leader with experience working in a fast-paced, customer focused, and value-based environment. This position will be responsible for shaping the technology vision, development roadmap, and product strategy in support of the core business. They will work closely with the leadership team to develop a full understanding of the business goals and strategy to align technology projects. Strong communication and leadership skills are imperative, as this executive will be the internal and external technology champion of the company. As such, the Head of Product will be a true technology thought leader who partners with key stakeholders to envision, define, document, and evangelize a technology roadmap designed to scale BiggerPockets to the next level.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Build, lead, and retain a world-class product organization.

  • Install a high-performance Product Management Team and Product Management Process
  • Inspire fellowship through consistent communication and serve as an advocate for direct reports, and a liaison with other functional groups.
  • Manage and mentor the team, providing leadership and subject matter expertise for the company’s products and business strategy.
  • Keep the performance bar high and hold people firmly accountable—individually and collectively.
  • Develop a culture within the Engineering and Product teams of free-thinking, confidence, change management, professional evolution, and rapid learning. Enthusiastically inspire teams to be excited by and embrace daily challenges.
  • Recruit highly engaged individuals able to operate at private equity speed.
  • Organize teams and roles (product, services, geography) to maximize throughput and quality.
  • Lead re-platform of legacy applications to increase productivity, lower cost, optimize resources, and improve delivery models
  • Project management across all teams including professional services, infrastructure, pre-sales, etc. on priorities and deliverables

Compensation

The Agent Sales Representative (ASR) is responsible for selling BiggerPockets newly-launched lead program to investor-friendly real estate agents. The ASR will build great relationships with real estate agents and brokerages throughout the country, understand their needs, and sell lead programs. This role is perfect for someone who is a self-starter, is great at building personal relationships, and has a genuine passion for helping real estate agents grow their businesses.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Sell BiggerPockets products as marketing solutions to investor-friendly real estate agents to help them grow their businesses
  • Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients
  • Maintain CRM (Hubspot) of prospective client information
  • Own the sales process from prospecting to outreach to contract signing
  • Meet and exceed required daily/weekly sales and prospecting targets
  • Collaborate with leadership on pipeline building and messaging best practices
  • Work closely with Customer Success to ensure agents are delighted with their investments
  • Occasionally attend industry events, meetups, and conferences to talk to agents teach agents about BiggerPockets offerings
