About the Role

BiggerPockets is looking to add a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist to our Human Resources Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter to implement and manage effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse group of talented candidates for our company.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage the full life cycle recruiting experience across all levels within the team.
  • Act as a trusted business partner to advise on recruiting strategies & best practices to attract, source, screen, and hire a diverse talent pool for a variety of roles across the organization.
  • Create and implement unique technical sourcing strategies that target diverse talent pools through research, social media, niche sites, and networking events
  • Utilize our ATS, Workable, and leverage our website career page, referral groups, job boards and social media to build and maintain a highly qualified and diverse pipeline of talent.
  • Post open jobs, screen applications and identify qualified candidates.
  • Build and manage relationships with candidates and hiring managers, while keeping the focus at providing a “high touch” level of service to both candidates and hiring managers
  • Work in a consultative manner with hiring teams, to ensure they are making the best hiring decisions possible and becoming more effective hiring experts
  • Manage the interview process: schedule interviews, conduct interviews, and attend interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the hiring managers and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Collaborate and negotiate on offers of employment.
  • Provides a robust onboarding experience for newly hired employees.
  • Lead with an inclusive mentality across our hiring practices
  • Be an active member of the BiggerPockets community and stay ahead of hiring trends.
  • Utilize appropriate systems to measure recruitment metrics and reports as a way to keep stakeholders abreast of ongoing recruiting activity.
  • Ensures new hires are engaging with their teams and the organization, and are prepared to jump into their roles by understanding organizational tools and communication resources.
  • Participate in special projects and various recruiting initiatives.

Requirements

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience, executing full-life cycle recruiting, preferably in media,, technology or other relatable industries or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven experience sourcing and recruiting for high growth teams within various technical & creative verticals.
  • Corporate OR mix of agency and corporate experience is preferred.
  • Passion for recruiting and demonstration of curiosity for staying on top of current trends and best practices.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of recruitment activities for various levels across various business groups and use innovative methods to source and attract passive candidates.
  • Ability to assess candidate’s skills/qualifications and attributes in order to make the appropriate hiring recommendations
  • A clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day to day recruiting activities, while producing quality work, on time and under minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage through change, embodies an ownership mentality, and can successfully work independently and with a team.
  • Good judge of character with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Experience using Workable or comparable applicant tracking systems

LOCATION: This is a hybrid role, but must be able to join at the Denver office a couple of days a week.

SALARY: The salary range for this job position is $80,000 – 90,000 based on experience, plus a 10% bonus potential.

BiggerPockets is seeking a results-driven Product Manager to deliver a content engagement experience that delights our existing 2 million members and drives new customer acquisition through strategies that increase organic sessions to our platform. A successful Product Manager in this role will meet company goals for traffic and signups.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with our Media and Publishing GMs to create highly engaging customer experiences for accessing and consuming the educational content that BiggerPockets produces, including our blog, bookstore, podcasts and more.
  • Partner with our Marketing and SEO heads to develop and execute strategies that bring qualified traffic to our site and provide them a delightful experience connecting with the tools and content they are looking for, driving new signups for our memberships.
