  • Hunt for new business in Orange County! You get excited about showing others our product. You take “no” as a “not yet, challenge accepted.”
  • Manage your own pipeline of potential clients and take advantage of every opportunity to grow your book of business
  • Attend and create some amazing events to further engage potential and current Booksy users
  • Cold calls, walk-ins, sliding into DMs – you’re personable and persistent
  • Meetings, meetings and more meetings! You understand that face to face interaction is key in closing that sale and identifying your clients needs
  • Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close. You are determined to spread the Booksy gospel
  • Set your clients up for success by conducting demos and educating them on all our app features and how they can best utilize our product for their business needs

We’re looking for a full-time HR Admin to help improve company productivity and manage the happiness of the entire Booksy US team. We didn’t want to get buzz-wordy, but we’re looking for a go-getter.

The HR Admin reports to the Director of Human Resources and is responsible for assisting in HR operations and owns the day-to-day operations of our US headquarters office in Chicago. To be successful in this role you must be comfortable with organizing, coordinating, and executing a wide variety of HR services & events. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, proactively supporting the administrative needs of the business, and a passion for cultivating a culture of caring, support and kindness for our employees.

Requirements

Provide proactive administrative support for Booksy U.S

  • HR projects and processes include:
    • Serve as point of contact for new hire onboarding
    • Timely distribution of employee communications and presentations (e.g. new hire benefit enrollment, 401(k) enrollment, birthday and anniversary announcements, etc.)
    • Support benefit inquiries & annual enrollment
    • Scheduling candidate interviews as needed
    • HRIS audits and data upkeep, making corrections and changes as needed
    • Process employment verification requests
    • Maintain general knowledge of HR compliance requirements to assist policies, procedures, and reporting adherence
    • Manage employee offboarding (preparing documentation, updating employee status, coordinating exit surveys & equipment return)
    • Coordinate employee events and celebrations including leading the Booksy Spirit Committee!
  • Office management duties will require on-site support 3 days per week.
    • Office schedule maintenance
    • Supply, equipment, business card ordering & inventory
    • Billing reconciliation
    • Vendor management
    • Build security process (e.g. access cards)
    • Travel arrangement support

What We Are Looking For:

  • 1-2 years of Human Resources experience preferably in a start-up environment
  • Proficient in Google or MSOffice suite required; graphic design skills a plus
  • Experience with Paylocity, BambooHR, or similar a plus
  • Basic understanding of Human Resources and an eagerness to continue learning and growing
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; confidentiality a must
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Excited about helping others
  • Positive can-do attitude
