The Pharmacy Department consists of more than 430 staff members providing industry-leading, evidence-based medicine.

As a full time 10 hour IV Room Pharmacist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will be responsible for the daily organization and supervision of all drug distribution activities, including provision of clinical services, in the Sterile Products Preparation Area (IV Room).

Rotating shifts – days/evenings.

Educational requirements:

  • Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy in the USA.
  • Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent practice experience.

Licenses:

  • Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California.
  • BLS certification by American Heart Association

Experience:

  • You will have knowledge of medical terminology as related to drug usage.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of common disease states and pathologies.
  • You will have the ability to comprehend patient medical management plans.
  • Ability to assess and apply current pharmacological and biopharmaceutical principles for the selection and use of drug products in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to extract pertinent information from the patient or other sources and relate it to the patient care plan.
  • Possess the verbal and written communication skills required to fulfill the pharmacist’s responsibilities.
  • Ability to prepare drugs for administration and to give advice on IV drug stabilities, compatibilities, usage, and administration
  • Ability to prepare drugs needed for immediate administration.
  • Ability to provide recommendations and monitor the use of drugs.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations and standards relative to pharmacy practice.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Ability to prioritize workflow.
  • Ability to evaluate medication regimens to meet the therapeutic needs of patients.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to the use of automated information systems in daily practice.
  • Demonstrated competency in techniques of pharmaceutical calculations, compounding and pharmacokinetics.
  • Possess patient-centered communication skills.

The Cedars-Sinai Medical Group offers a full spectrum of Internal Medicine and Multi-Specialty patient care, servicing patients in geographies across the Greater Los Angeles area.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Research, who will provide medical evaluation and care to patients enrolled in research studies conducted by the assigned department. This activity is performed in collaboration with physician-investigator(s) of the department, and other members of the multidisciplinary health care team. Your practice includes the screening of new patients who are candidates for protocols, medically managing them while on a protocol and providing their follow-up care. This activity may be performed in both the in-patient and outpatient setting.

Educational Requirements: 

  • Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the Board of Registered Nursing is required

Licenses:

Summary of Essential Job Duties:

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist II (CLS II) in the Core Lab functions with general direction from senior technical personnel. Responsibilities include performing routine and technically complex laboratory tests and analyses requiring well developed cognitive, manipulative and problem-solving skills. The CLS II’s activities include operating and maintaining test equipment, monitoring and evaluating the quality of testing, and verifying and reporting test results. Additional duties include general support functions necessary for the routine operation of the laboratory. Performs all job duties with sensitivity and attention to the age and developmental issues of the patient population(s) being served.

Education Requirements:
