Purpose/Introduction

We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Projects & Supply Chain team as an Export Account Coordinator located in The Woodlands, TX.

The desired candidate should be committed to promoting and ensuring a safe work environment with demonstrated skills in planning/scheduling, organizing, and accomplishing his/her work in an efficient manner. This candidate should be a self-starter, a team player, adaptable, an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the successful candidate should be able to advocate as an agent of change and innovation as he/she becomes familiar with processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage orders from order placement, receipt of product, invoicing, and account settlement
  • Liaise with plant, warehouses, freight forwarders and drayage carriers to coordinate shipments
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as necessary
  • Liaise with global trade and freight forwarders to ensure proper export documentation
  • Foster supplier, vendor, and customer relationships
  • Partner with export customers, agents and internal international sales offices
  • Utilize applicable SAP/APO system elements
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve problems
  • Identify and recommend process automations and improvement opportunities
  • Provide coverage for team members

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required OR a minimum of 5 years customer service and/or logistics experience, High School diploma or GED required.
  • Petrochemical Customer Service or logistics experience
  • SAP experience
  • Ability to process and manage large volume transactions and orders accurately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability and eagerness to work in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • After hours availability
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Freight forwarding and/or export experience
  • Railtrac experience
  • PowerBi experience

Purpose/Introduction

Chevron Phillips Chemical seeks a Compensation Specialist, located at our headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas.  The position reports into the company’s Compensation department and is eligible to work on a hybrid schedule (in office/at home).

Responsibilities

The position is accountable for various compensation processes including but not limited to:

  • The primary responsibilities of this position will focus on the implementation, governance and administration of CPChem’s employee recognition programs, including the roll out and ongoing oversight of a global recognition software platform
  • Process owner for the Company’s total rewards statements and other total rewards educational materials, which includes the implementation, roll-out and administration of a global, electronic statement
  • Serve a primary administrator for the annual short term incentive bonus program
  • Participate as a back-up where needed for other compensation processes such as survey submission and analysis, job evaluation, FLSA exemption reviews, internal equity reviews, promotion forecasting, executive compensation plans, and salary increase programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field.  Will consider a current “Certified Compensation Professional” (CCP) designation in lieu of degree.
  • Ten years or more of Human Resources experience with at least 5 years in an exempt-level Corporate Compensation role focused on US compensation programs
  • Experience with and knowledge of US compensation laws/regulations, market analysis and pay structure design methodologies, variable compensation design and delivery.
  • Proficiency in HRIS utilization and ad hoc reporting.
  • Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP), Power Point and related tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a cloud-based employee recognition software
  • Experience with cloud-based total rewards statements
  • Experience with SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors.
