This position serves as a Management and Program Analyst, located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Management Division (JMD), within the Facilities Administrative Services Staff (FASS), Personal Property Services (PPS).

The duties and responsibilities for a Management and Program Analyst GS-0343-13 generally include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performs work as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and communicates with vendors and fiscal staff to resolve payment issues, calculate invoices for accuracy, assist with contract renewals, and request reimbursement checks for unused funds.
- Manages the accounts for FASS transit subsidy participants under the General Account and Working Capital Fund to ensure that policy requirements are enforced, and issues are resolved.
- Manages Artwork, Portraits, and the Attorney General Gifts program. Safeguards gifts given to the Attorney General, some worth thousands of dollars, and coordinates with GSA on excess and disposal procedures.
- Coordinates with professional gift appraisal companies to determine official dollar value for Attorney General gifts, perform regular quarterly physical inventory of Attorney General gifts and utilize the Personal Property Management System to account for and manage accountable property.

- You must be a current Federal employee within the Department of Justice on a Competitive Service appointment.
- You must meet all applicable time-in-grade requirements by the closing of this announcement.

To qualify for the position of Management and Program Analyst, (GS-0343-13), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade.
If you are a current Department of Justice employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Applying a comprehensive range of principles, concepts, and practices concerning transit subsidy, property, and inventory management, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Federal Advisory Committee (FACA).
