Who you are
You are a tax professional with 3-5 years of experience with a passion for taxes and tax research. You have experience with the complexities of being a marketplace facilitator and have managed tax situations for multiple revenue streams. With your experience using Netsuite, SQL and Looker, you will be a strong asset to our product team where you’ll have the opportunity to implement tax solutions. The idea of bringing your experience to a high-growth, dynamic environment brings excitement. You are comfortable managing various complexities, such as the various tracking and reporting of indirect sales taxes at Drizly. Your analytical mindset is suited well for researching complex tax situations and compliance issues as well as looking for opportunities to optimize Drizly’s current process.
What the role is
In the Indirect Tax Analyst position, you will be an integral part of the Finance team at Drizly. Through collaborating with other teams across the Drizly organization, you’ll provide tax expertise and research for the various complex tax transactions that arise.
You’ll be responsible for all tax related matters for our customer growth at Drizly, which will include filing and remitting all sales tax reporting for consumers, retailers and suppliers as well as contributing to the growth of scalable systems. Through Drizly’s exciting season of growth, you will be the go-to person for assessing and researching the complex tax situations that will need to be solved. You will also be comfortable with reporting and remitting tax that will need to be addressed throughout continued process improvements.

In this role you will:

    • Execute timely information reporting and compliance filings for sales and use tax, business licenses and tax notices on a monthly and quarterly basis.
    • Research and apply tax applications for products and services in multiple jurisdictions throughout the US; compose technical tax memorandums as necessary.
    • Support in designing tax processes that enable Drizly to streamline data processing.
    • Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Legal and Product teams as it relates to tax research and compliance for our customers.
    • Work with Account Management, Sales, and other support teams to drive campaigns to update accurate tax applications throughout the business.

What the role is
In the Leadership Development Partner role, you will be an integral part of the People Operations team, responsible for supporting Sales, Account Management, and Customer Experience in their development of talent and creation of high-performing organizations.
