Position Summary: Deliver innovative, 360-degree professional blended learning experiences that model the principles of adult learning and promote digital best practices in teaching, learning and assessment. Develop learning journeys that consistently communicate Aveda Education messaging, programs and materials across multiple digital platforms and live trainings and empower end user to achieve business goals. Monitor the digital learning environment and scan for tools or platforms to achieve objectives on a large scale and optimize each delivery method in the most effective way. Oversee the Global Education Instructional Design team and reach desired productivity goals and maximize team agility. Collect information and assets from all channels around the world and work with stakeholders across multiple regions and channels to ascertain needs and provide solutions. Communicate needs to internal team and develop messaging and programs accordingly.

Job Description:

 

  • Create execution strategies for global education content in collaboration with VP Global Education and cross-functional stakeholders in Education, Marketing, Creative and Sales, targeting messaging and delivery for a variety of roles, functions and regions. Track results of implementation and adjust plan accordingly.
  • Leverage consumer insights to deliver education journeys and tools that put the consumer at the center and build by channel to support consumer multi-channel experience journey, leveraging the expertise of each (stores, salons, Institutes, retail partners).
  • Determine and oversee resource needs to execute strategy, including budget creation and management.
  • Direct management of the education creative and operations team to deliver projects on time and on budget while maximizing team productivity and flexibility. Continue to grow team skills in connecting information and learning in a digital format.
  • Deliver holistic, 360-degree, blended learning experiences across all channels of business and ensure that both digital and live learning opportunities deliver on strategic goals and business initiatives. Oversee the creation of programs and tracking processes to impact long term behavior change and determine program effectiveness.
  • Schedule and prioritize deliverables to meet campaign calendar and business needs while accommodating for and turning around last-minute business needs.
  • Source, collect, and curate network-generated content across multiple platforms and traditional print outlets and prepare for scale as necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Years of Experience: 10+ years in Digital Learning, beauty industry ideal

Additional Job Specifications: Experience building/expanding Digital Learning capability strongly preferred. Knowledge of education technologies and adult learning principles and how to connect both for optimum effectiveness required. Ability to collect and leverage key performance metrics and data to provide insights and make strategic business decisions. Strong Project Management skill set with managing multiple streams of work with multiple individuals simultaneously with great success. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage projects on time and budget. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A clear working knowledge of Microsoft Office, an understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite and Articulate or other SCORM-compliant software, and previous experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) is required. Able to work effectively with remote team members. Strong deisre to manage and grow others. Experience developing and managing budgets. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
