Your repsonsibilities:

The Production Operator assists the Compounder in the production of specialty lubricants. The Production Operator must adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.

• Must be able to set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
• Locate material and supplies verifying lots and weights according to the manufacturing order
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections
• Operation of material handling equipment to include, but not limited to:
  • Fork lift
  • Drum lift
  • Pallet jack
  • Hand truck
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering materials and prepping work for technicians
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory
• Ensure that work environment is maintained clean, safe and organized
• Must complete daily assigned tasks to meet production volume and schedule
• Prepare finished goods for shipment by packing, labeling and loading on dock
• Ensure work environment is maintained clean, safe, and organized in accordance with 5S standards
• Utilization of lean techniques throughout manufacturing
• Must adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Perform finishing duties in the production of lubricants, i.e. – mixing, de-aerating, milling, and packaging
• Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications we are looking for:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical capability
• Basic reading, writing and math skills required
• Basic computer skills
• Team player, conscientious, quick learner, positive attitude
• Some heavy lifting (up to 75-lbs.) may be required
