Your Responsibilities:

The Process Engineer will be responsible for leading projects to improve manufacturing efficiency of our specialty lubricants/ compounds.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee major projects within the Manufacturing Engineering department.
  • Advise other engineers within the department.
  • Fill in for the manager when required.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication and materials as well as soliciting observations from technicians.
  • Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements while researching, designing, modifying and testing manufacturing methods.
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements and equipment layout.
  • Assure product and process quality by designing and evaluating testing methods, testing finished product and process capabilities.
  • Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor and material costs and estimating future requirements.
  • Scale pilot batches up into full production.
  • Review and evaluate new process procedures and documentation.
  • Aid in the qualification of new equipment and procedures.
  • Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
  • Coordinate with the quality department to implement new products and procedures.
  • Perform PFD’s (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&ID’s (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) for required equipment.
  • Aid in batch costing operations.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new and/or inexperienced employees.

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Science discipline.
  • Minimum one year of experience in engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of engineering concepts and approaches
  • Able to independently assimilate new technology and apply to work
  • Ability to perform established experimental procedures to meet project goals
  • Ability to use technical background to design variations on procedures to solve technical problems
  • Lean and Six Sigma background is a plus

Your repsonsibilities:

The Production Operator assists the Compounder in the production of specialty lubricants. The Production Operator must adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.

  • Must be able to set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
  • Locate material and supplies verifying lots and weights according to the manufacturing order
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections
  • Operation of material handling equipment to include, but not limited to:
    • Fork lift
    • Drum lift
    • Pallet jack
    • Hand truck
  • Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering materials and prepping work for technicians
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory
  • Ensure that work environment is maintained clean, safe and organized
  • Must complete daily assigned tasks to meet production volume and schedule
  • Prepare finished goods for shipment by packing, labeling and loading on dock
  • Ensure work environment is maintained clean, safe, and organized in accordance with 5S standards
  • Utilization of lean techniques throughout manufacturing
  • Must adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Perform finishing duties in the production of lubricants, i.e. – mixing, de-aerating, milling, and packaging
  • Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical capability
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills required
  • Basic computer skills

CPM TECHNICIAN 1

NEXT POSSIBLE START DATE | CULPEPER, VA

The Fluid Service Technician is responsible for the care and maintenance of our client’s industrial fluids including coolants, oils, wash and waste fluids. This may include sampling, testing, fluid additions, changing, and care of any additional fluid related equipment such as filter systems or waste systems.

We have openings for Full Time and Part Time flexible schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Draining the fluid sump, remove any sludge/chips contamination, power wash the fluid tank, recharge system with Fresh solution or premixed fluid.
  • Collect data and samples from industrial fluid systems
  • Conduct laboratory testing per procedures
  • Input and communicate data including generating daily reports
  • Material handling, lift truck operation loading and dumping
  • Following procedures and adhere to all customer and safety requirements.
  • Participating in daily communication meetings with his Supervisor and communicate effectively with the site leader and customer

Qualifications:

  • Lift-truck experience a definite plus
  • Ability to work full time or part-time as well as split shift depending on the needs of the customer
  • Stand for the majority of a shift for approximately 4-8 hours and walk several miles daily
  • Lift a minimum of 50-lbs regularly several times per hour during a normal shift.
  • Bend/crouch/stoop and dip on a regular basis in order to obtain samples
  • Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Basic computer knowledge/ability to navigate the internet & email
