Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in Human Resources or Business; other disciplines may be considered with additional related experience
  • Ten (10) or more years of HR experience is preferred
  • Must have strong business acumen and the ability to link initiatives to business results
  • Must be able to effectively maneuver through change in high-paced work environment
  • Must effectively portray professional, customer service oriented, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work at all levels of the organization.

The Electromechanical position will install, align, maintain, and repair a wide variety of machinery and CNC equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electronic malfunctions, repair, rebuild and overhaul assemblies; and is able to perform complex diagnoses and repairs of all electrical and electronic systems including CNC machines, and PLC controlled equipment. Follows established company directives, policies, military specifications, quality documents and manufacturing instructions.
Responsibilities

The electromechanical technician will lead and direct other maintenance trades needed for repairs of the equipment, as well as work closely with Engineers, Programmers, Supervisors, production Employees and other Maintenance personnel. Also works closely with factory trained service technicians and service engineers.

Will wire new equipment. Adjusts devices and control instruments. Program basic machine functions, axis movements, spindle speeds, tool recovery and MDI functions. Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.

Determines if a malfunction, or failure, is in the various electronic controls and accessories or, if it is associated with electrical, hydraulic or a combination of various problems; using an understanding all interfacing equipment and components used by the machine manufacture.

Troubleshoots and isolates equipment malfunctions in various electronic controls and accessories. Interpret diagnostic tapes, and us other methods of trouble shooting, for CNC/NC equipment and computer processing units to isolate a problem down to particular printed circuit board.

Creates new, or uses established, repair procedures to return equipment to serviceable and operating conditions. Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.

Repairs electrical equipment, and repairs or replaces defective parts. Will lay out and machine complex parts needed for machine repairs.

May trace out, and replace if necessary, coolant, hydraulic and or pneumatic hoses using hydraulic and pneumatic hoses, fitting and hose crimping equipment.
Qualifications

Required:

Knowledge:

  • Able to understand ladder logic, be able to display and use ladder logic in trouble shooting machines.
  • Must be knowledgeable of binary or digital logic numbering systems used in assigned older equipment.

Skills:

  • Understands and repairs interfacing equipment between microprocessor and machine functions.
  • Adept with programming and troubleshooting computer systems associated with industrial CNC/NC equipment (executive memory).
  • Physical capacity requirements for this position require the incumbent to be able to lift 35 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. on occasion.
  • Proven awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions. Demonstrated ability to follow safety practices and recognize hazards
  • Understands and repairs interfacing equipment between microprocessor and machine functions.

This position will require knowledge and experience with the system development life cycle and design, integration and implementation of large, enterprise scale data communications network infrastructures. Combining the latest technologies with industry best practices, engineers work both independently and as a team to provide IT related support for the Defense Information Systems Agency/Joint Service Provider (DISA/JSP).

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzes network topologies, traffic and capacity requirements.
  • Install, configure and maintain network devices.
  • Ability to rack and stack network devices following diagrams and cut sheets.
  • Verify service by testing installed equipment; identifying, correcting, or escalating problems.
  • May provide technical support and troubleshooting to users.
  • Knowledge of network cabling test equipment including network testers, copper cable testers, fiber OTDRs and fiber power meters.
  • Supports the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed.
  • Ability to work nights (2000-0600 / 8pm EST-6am EST) when needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Current 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science; Engineering; or a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; technical certifications or training; or work experience.
  • Hands-on experience in network analysis and design (2-5 yrs for MID Level & 5-8 yrs for SR Level).
  • Knowledge of Layer 2 & Layer 3 switching, VLANs, VRFs, firewalls, proxy servers, VPN equipment, router access lists, servers, and other enterprise network equipment.
  • Experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides for network devices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and must be able to prepare Visio drawings.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
  • Willing to support this short-term position as indicated above.
  • Willing to report onsite as indicated above.
  • Willingness to work nights (2000-0600 / 8pm EST-6am EST) when needed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hands on network experience in support of large data centers.
