We are seeking a CDL Driver to join our Gexpro team in Naperville, IL!

SummaryThe CDL Driver I is responsible for delivering products to/from customers, company branch/warehouse locations, and company suppliers. Responsible for ensuring that deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner, and materials are correct and free of damage.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Inspects company vehicle for visual and operating defects. Responsible for completing a daily inspection report
  • Keeps company vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained. Alerts supervisor of repair and/or service needed
  • Must follow Department of Transportation (DOT), local and state driving laws and regulations
  • Loads or unloads vehicle; and ensures all material for each order is correct (quantity and type of material), and that material is free of damage before departure
  • May assist in preparing orders for delivery
  • Ensures all appropriate documentation is thoroughly completed at the time of delivery, including delivery receipt is signed by the customer, packing list and branch/warehouse manifest
  • Picks up material returns from customers. Responsible for inspecting the condition of the material and verifies quantities and catalog numbers
  • Picks up material from company suppliers
  • May be required to support other Warehouse duties such as preparing and filling orders and/or receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire

  • Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to handle loads with a combine weight of 26,000 GVW required

We are seeking a Commodities Manager to join our Rexel USA team in Naperville, IL!

Summary

The Commodities Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a business plan to increase sales and market share in the Commodities Category.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop plans with our Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers at a regional and local level to yield better than market growth as well as achieve back margin objectives
  • Responsible for achieving the sales goals identified in the planning process
  • Responsible for ensuring that projects and new market opportunities are identified, and successful sales plans implemented for each
  • Able to understand market conditions, competitive forces, determine market share, and identify opportunities for growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to attack competition and increase market penetration using marketing tools (i.e., Digital Tools, promotions, service tools, etc.)
  • Actively promote products through participation at local trade shows, customer seminars and other local distributor promotions
  • Work with the commercial teams to identify and develop new service offerings as they relate to the Commodity Category
  • Establish appropriate metrics to track the local success of product launches and promotional programs to meet local sales objectives. Take corrective action when necessary to maximize effectiveness
  • Responsibility for Commodity category for purchasing activities – defined as Generic and Non-Generic
  • In partnership with Procurement Director, negotiate with vendors on our commodity needs within the region – this includes cost negotiation and local rebate negotiation
  • Provide commercial support on project and blanket negotiation in line with Offer Plan and Commercial Story with the branch and regional/district teams
  • Work with Pricing Director and Procurement Director on system cost management driven by understanding of market dynamics as well as profitability of the category
  • Have a clear understanding on the overall profitability of the category, the regional market, and give guidance to the commercial teams
  • Other duties as assigned
