Summary

The Senior EDI Analyst will serve as an EDI application and business process expert for production issues, service requests for ERP end-users, and functionality enhancements.  Works with the business to define EDI implementation requests, including enhancements and issues.  Analyses requirements from customers and suppliers to develop a solution and execute robust test plans. Assists with putting together demos and training material for new implementations & end-users when requested. As needed, the individual will also be tasked with helping identify the root cause of production issues and driving these issues to solution. The candidate is expected to be able interact with 3rd party vendors, customers, suppliers, various business client departments and at all levels of the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop scope and define backlog items (implementations/map changes/features/3rd party portal changes) that assist with the prioritization of tasks
  • Perform and test EDI map changes with suppliers, customers, & various business units
  • Interpret and write technical publications/diagrams, and project specifications
  • Partner and collaborate with business stakeholders to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals
  • Partner and collaborate with business stakeholders throughout the development process to gather requirements and provide demonstrations of the status
  • Work with team and the business to develop and execute robust test scripts
  • Read and dig deep into EDI data of the various formats (X12, cXML, XML, etc.) and document types (850, 855, 856, 810 etc.)
  • Conduct root cause analysis in support of process improvements & issue resolution
  • Provide demos during development releases for the IT team and Business
  • Performs basic fixes and data maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Do

  • BA or BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline; Equivalent specialized work experience may be considered in lieu of 4-year degree
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience with EDI Sterling Gentran software suite
  • Experience working with VANs
  • Experience implementing EDI translations and file transformations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Solid understanding of EDI data structure and flow
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of the agile scrum development method
  • Microsoft SQL
  • EDI Sterling Gentran software suite, batch scripting, and windows job scheduling
  • Familiarity with common communication protocols (FTP, SFTP, HTTP, etc.)
  • Comfortable working with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

We are seeking a CDL Driver to join our Gexpro team in Naperville, IL!

SummaryThe CDL Driver I is responsible for delivering products to/from customers, company branch/warehouse locations, and company suppliers. Responsible for ensuring that deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner, and materials are correct and free of damage.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Inspects company vehicle for visual and operating defects. Responsible for completing a daily inspection report
  • Keeps company vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained. Alerts supervisor of repair and/or service needed
  • Must follow Department of Transportation (DOT), local and state driving laws and regulations
  • Loads or unloads vehicle; and ensures all material for each order is correct (quantity and type of material), and that material is free of damage before departure
  • May assist in preparing orders for delivery
  • Ensures all appropriate documentation is thoroughly completed at the time of delivery, including delivery receipt is signed by the customer, packing list and branch/warehouse manifest
  • Picks up material returns from customers. Responsible for inspecting the condition of the material and verifies quantities and catalog numbers
  • Picks up material from company suppliers
  • May be required to support other Warehouse duties such as preparing and filling orders and/or receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • 7+ years of driving experience and 1+ years of CDL driving experience preferred
  • Or 1+ years of CDL driving experience required
  • Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of their Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire
  • Must not have had their drivers’ license suspended for traffic accidents/violations within the past 3 years
  • Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years

  • Ability to handle loads with a combine weight of 26,000 GVW required
