We work with great people and innovative and exciting companies that are changing the world – each in their own way – from innovating cancer research to self-driving cars.
We do things differently here than at other firms. Instead of thinking about how to sell more, we focus on helping our clients achieve success through:
- Employee Benefits solutions, including group health & life insurance plans that help our clients attract and retain talented employees who fit their culture.
- HR & Compliance solutions, including fractional-HR services, HR Hotline, and handbook builder, to keep our client’s HR house in order.
- Integrated payroll & HRIS solutions that help our clients’ Human Resources Department create efficient processes, so they have time to focus on what they love to do best and with less headaches.
- Business Insurance products such as GL, workers’ compensation, cyber liability, D&O, and key-person life insurance that help protect our clients and their employees from the bad sh*# that can happen to them.
We take pride in our history, our work ethic, our corporate culture, and especially our team. Our people are our greatest asset, and we value each of them as such. We honor our 50+ year legacy in the way we define our culture. We also hire for our culture.

What some of our former interns have to say about working at KIG:
“As a member of the Management Club at IUP, I heard Laurie Kuzneski speak about the culture at KIG and I knew I wanted to work there. I emailed her to see if they were hiring and she brought me in for an interview. I started as an HR intern, worked around my class schedule, and learned what I wanted to do – and what I didn’t want to do – with my career. KIG offered me a full-time job before I graduated and has encouraged and supported me in getting my professional designation.”
Melissa Craig, former HR Intern, Full-time Benefit Advocate at KIG
“Going into my internship with KIG I was focused on gaining beneficial professional work experience and doing meaningful work for the organization, and with KIG I was able to do both and more! KIG has provided me with not only great experience, but great teachings, co-workers, and a clearer vision of what I want my career to look like. I cannot say enough good things about this internship experience, and I am so fortunate to have spent the time I did with KIG!”
