Summary of Position

Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Manager of TV Participations. The primary focus for this position will be to oversee a portion of Lionsgate’s Television Participation reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze participation and royalty statements
  • Research and documentation of accounting entries
  • Review of participation statements prepared by Financial Analysts
  • Contract interpretation and set-up of new participation statements
  • Analysis and improvement of existing systems and practices
  • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 3-5 years of entertainment industry Participation reporting.  Experience in TV Participation reporting is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, links, macros)
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Experience in statement format set-ups
  • Experience with complex calculations including interest
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other team members and business units
  • Strong analytical skills to improve existing systems and practices
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet strict contractual deadlines
  • Ability to analyze and interpret production and distribution contracts

Full Job Description

The Manager, International Global Earned Media will report to the Vice President, Global Earned Media as well as work alongside the Senior Vice President, Global Earned Media, Special Projects & Visual Communications to assist in developing and implementing comprehensive International publicity campaigns to promote Lionsgate theatrical releases throughout the International lifecycle windows.

Responsibilities

  • Work side-by-side with the US Strategy and Publicity teams to facilitate synergy with international distributors and align global publicity & marketing strategies.
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses from the international perspective.
  • Plan and oversee international press strategy for LG produced features.
  • Manage day-to-day communication with international distributors regarding local campaigns and facilitate all incoming publicity requests.
  • Oversee and execute participation in press events from pre-production through release, including set visits, long lead press days, press junkets, premieres, overseas talent tours and film festivals.
  • Manage talent relations and approvals for all International publicity initiatives.
  • Oversee and work with the Talent and Travel Specialist (publicity manager) on all International talent travel logistics, including booking flights, transportation, and accommodations etc.
  • Create and manage budgets for all projects including international tours, press days, junkets, festivals as well as supervise distributor invoicing.
  • Oversee international film festival requests, liaise with key festival contacts, coordinate talent participation and materials for submission.
  • Work with SVP & VP to manage international review strategy, as well as approve local press screening plans.
  • Supervise delivery of publicity assets such as photography, EPK, production notes, special shoots, generic interviews and shout-outs as per contractual obligations.
  • Supervise and manage outside PR agencies and vendors as required.
  • Point of contact for HFPA and BAFTA.
  • Collaborate with Global Teams on: set press visits, edit bay visits, screening plans, material launches, sentiment reports, content days, junket asks, filmmaker decks, key dates, and review dates.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in an Internatonal marketing and/or publicity capacity
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or related degree
  • Willingness to work overtime and be flexible with hours.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Superior communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and deal with deadline pressure.
  • Strong work ethic.

Summary of Position:

The Growth Marketing Analyst will be focusing on acquiring high quality customers for a top-tier TV streaming service by developing and executing on channels like Facebook, Google, Twitter, Pinterest and more. The ideal candidate is an analytical and strategic thinker with high attention to detail, but also has an ability to think creatively (attention to visuals, ability to write copy, etc). In this role, the Analyst will get hands on experience building and optimizing high-impact campaigns while building a strong foundation of knowledge and skills in the growth marketing space.

Responsibilities:

  • Launch and optimize large-scale digital marketing campaigns across performance-oriented channels such as Facebook, Google, Twitter, Ad Networks, Apple Search and Pinterest among others
  • Get hands on with large data sets by analyzing trends and developing strategic recommendations with the goal of always improving performance
  • Work cross-functionally with our Creative, Product & Engineering, and Brand teams
  • Generate and analyze daily, weekly and monthly reports to track performance across all initiatives

Experience & Skills:

  • BA/BS required – degree in an quantitative field preferred (i.e., Economics, Math)
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a quantitative or analytical role
