The Business Analytics Specialist is a linchpin role working within the broader CEnS organization. You will work with cross-functional teams to effectively manage and deliver on Insights & Analytics, operations, and transformation. In this critical role, you will be responsible for executing on business objectives through insights that incorporate HQ functions and area/field leadership thereby creating transparency around insights & analytics initiatives through a rhythm of the business (ROB). You will execute on the detailed implementation, and support of analytical models, tools and techniques including process changes that are part of this program.
We are looking for a talented and motivated analytics & insights professional who has experience building BI Scorecards, Dashboards, on operational performance data including the ability to work with stakeholders to solve for a wide ranging insights and analytics problems/ scenarios – all with the goal of providing actionable insights into business processes and customer experience. You will contribute to continuing the team’s progress toward being a recognized hub for forward thinking in the field of analytics. The team consists of experts in statistical data analysis, machine learning, driver analysis, forecasting, big data technologies, fraud analytics, and clickstream analytics etc. You must demonstrate and maintain strong organizational expertise, demonstrate experience in BI tools, visualization, analyzing and interpreting performance data on operational metrics and KPIs and articulate these to key business stakeholders. Additionally, you will manage the suite of standard or ad hoc reporting needs and manage data feeds. In addition, the ability to be flexible and take on challenges outside of current knowledge and skill sets will be critical to achieving success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Predicting customers’ next issues to solve them proactively
Providing analytics on clickstream data for as many customers each year as Facebook has users
Using data to optimize sales opportunities, identify support issues and understand customers
Proactively identifying service and quality issues before customers realize there is a problem
Build and develop Scorecards, Dashboards working alongside a strong team of Leads, Analysts, Architects to deliver priority outcomes in alignment with the strategic roadmap for Services
Engage broadly with the teams to frame, structure, and prioritize business problems where insights can have the biggest impact
Act as an evangelist and catalyst for BI & Analytics innovation
Manage the portfolio of work and partner with stakeholders on monthly governance activities
Partner on a robust, sustainable cloud first big data architecture, data lake, data mart and other assorted reporting/distribution services with the data engineering teams
Partner with data science team towards rich and bold insights
Create and manage standards, processes, and procedures to ensure agile delivery and consistent operations.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

6+ years of hands-on experience across BI tools, specifically proficiency in using Power BI is a must
Proven track record of delivering highly scalable and reliable systems through multiple cycles.
Design and data modeling background, partnering with engineering & information architecture teams
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to convince other strong personalities of their ideas and work with many partners in solving a problem.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues/scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts.
An attention to detail with self-discipline and a drive for results.
Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries.
Masters in Statistics/Econometrics or related discipline or relevant experience.

Location/Travel: Preference for candidates to join the team in Charlotte, NC or Las Colinas, TX.  But open to candidate in the United States.   You can expect limited global travel, 0 – 25%, contingent upon Covid-19 restrictions.
