Full Job Description
Blue Symphony is an information technology and marketing consultancy based in the Kansas City metropolitan area. I/T specialties include web development, mobile apps, and custom database solutions. Marketing services include strategic planning, brand/identity development, social media campaign development and execution, design services and other online and offline services.
We are seeking a marketing and communications professional to join our team to support initiatives for the company and clients. Support ranges from planning to execution in the areas of mass communications, client-specific communications, client support, and research.
Responsibilities:
Serve as client liaison. Guide potential clients through the sales funnel. Communicate with individual current, past, and potential clients to educate, inform, and support. Work with Creative Director to develop digital marketing and brand management campaigns. Draft content for various types of communications ranging from proposals to social media posts and more. Execute the campaigns via multiple avenues such as social media, e-newsletters, and blogs. Help clients with light technical tasks such as setting up email accounts, logging in to systems, etc. Other communications and client support related tasks.
Qualifications:
Required:
· Client-focused
· Ability to foster relationships
· Experience in copy writing and editing
· Traditional and/or digital sales and marketing experience
· Proven planning and organizational skills
· Aptitude and interest in researching and learning about the technology industry, our clients’ industries, and how we can and do impact them
· Ability to create written compositions for targeted audiences
· Self-motivated and self-disciplined
· Detail-oriented
· Consistently meets deadlines
