Trust Administrator
The Trust Administrator is responsible for the ongoing service and retention of high net-worth individual clients. Under minimal supervision, this job interacts with clients for their trust administration and organization business partners across the organization. This job is responsible for administration and retention of the most sensitive and complex clients.
Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provides relationship management to trust clients, including the ongoing servicing and retention of personal client relationships.
  • Advises clients and their auditors on tax and compliance matters relevant to respective state law for their trusts.
  • Analyzes and interprets legal instruments and documents to determine the duties of responsibilities of Trustee.
  • Directs all activities for the client’s trust related to the account and appropriate tax and regulatory reporting, ensuring quality and accuracy of account activity.
  • Proactively communicates with client and third party service providers to ensure high level of customer satisfaction and achieve account objectives.
  • Ensures account compliance for the trust with legal and regulatory requirement relating to governing documents; identifies and resolves quality issues.
  • Develops partnership and collaboration with internal partners, including Portfolio Managers, Wealth Management Advisors, and the organization’s operations, about client issues and potential opportunities.
  • Serves as subject matter expert on trust fiduciary and trust client tools.

The Associate, Retail Asset Management position is responsible for maximizing the value of the organization’s retail real estate portfolio through the execution of managing, leasing, development, and dispositions of diversified, domestic real estate investments primarily in the mall sector. Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee the financial, operational, leasing and capital matters for a retail portfolio (primarily held in Joint Ventures with prominent operating partners).
  • Engage with Portfolio Management to execute fund mandates including developing hold/sell analyses and executing corresponding strategy.
  • Participate in the timely production of reports that keep Senior Management and Corporate Governance apprised of changes in property fundamentals and competitive positioning.
  • Prepare and/or review annual asset business plans, operating budgets and capital budgets as well as monitor actual performance against approved budgets.
  • Produce annual sell/hold assessments and assist in presenting recommendations to Portfolio Management and third party investors.
  • Coordinate, on a quarterly basis, with internal and third party appraisers.
  • Evaluate investments based on discounted cash flows and return on cost.

POSITION SUMMARY:

10-week summer internship program for Impact Investing / Private Infrastructure / Sustainability

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

For all assignments, the summer intern would be expected to:
  • Provide overall research and analytical support to the teams as they evaluate new investment opportunities
  • Assist portfolio managers in the active surveillance of existing portfolio holdings
  • Assist senior investment staff in the analysis, documentation, and processing of new investment transactions.
  • Rotational opportunities may include assignments/projects on the Impact Investing, Sustainability and Private Infrastructure teams.
