EP&S is embarking on transformation to an Agile Infrastructure Operating Model. An experienced and talented Project Navigator (Manager) is key to supporting this journey and enabling success. The Project Navigator will drive coordination and integration activities across EP&S Product and Service teams to support delivery of complex projects. The role will involve decomposing complex and non-standard requests to EP&S and working with teams to prioritize these requests into the relevant backlogs for delivery.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive coordination and integration activities across EP&S Product and Service teams to support delivery of complex projects
  • Work with Product/Service owner and teams to decompose complex and non-standard requests into EP&S and help prioritize these backlog items in the delivery team backlogs
  • Work with EP&S Product/Service teams to size work and provide input for project prioritization

  • Follow up with teams to track progress of prioritized work items
  • Centralize backlog disparities and report on and escalate problem areas
  • Provide insight into common request and delivery patterns, identifying and recommending improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with the EP&S Governance and Project Execution teams to ensure shared understanding of priorities, product/service roadmaps and strategic alignment
  • Support and participate in the EP&S Quarterly Planning process (PI planning)
  • Support and participate in the EP&S Technical Governance forum

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management, or relevant disciplines.
  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager, scrum master or Epic owner, working with functional/technical teams of contract or colleague resources
  • Relevant experience as an information technology professional in roles such as a software developer, technical project manager, systems administrator, database administrator, systems engineer, computer engineer or support specialist, engineering lead, technical team lead.
  • Proven capability leading or coordinating projects in a complex Agile environment
  • Have demonstrated ability and experience in technology solutions delivery in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment with demonstrated capabilities managing large scale, enterprise software requirements definition, designs and implementations in global 24-by-7 environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish relationships, influence outcomes, and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Director, Vendor Management Office partners with Pfizer Digital leadership to maximize the value of sourcing initiatives and service provider relationships for Pfizer Digital. Pfizer Digital is the organization responsible for all of Pfizer’s technology services (i.e., application development/support, architecture, analytics, and security). The Vendor Management Office coordinates and works with key leaders and decision makers to align, build and execute the digital vendor strategy. The primary focus of this role is advancing the vendor and software management strategic priorities, leading service provider-facing governance meetings in collaboration with Pfizer Digital Leadership and providing direction to the Pfizer Digital team based on defined goals.

To achieve this, the ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in sourcing and commercial practices, service provider relationship management, software management, risk management, data analysis, and benchmarking capabilities. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategy
    • Partner with Pfizer Digital Leadership to set strategic priorities, define goals and drive service provider relationships
    • Continuously improve vendor and software management effectiveness (e.g., introducing new capabilities, refining processes)
    • Build awareness of vendor and software management strategy via communications and stakeholder outreach to drive alignment
  • Governance

How You Will Achieve It

ROLE SUMMARY

Reporting to one of the Emerging Marketing Group Leads the marketing specialist will work with minimal supervision to:

  • Process the Procurement Orders for all the Emerging Markets Commercial Organization (EMCCO) reporting to EM Chief Commercial Officer, across all categories and locations in Emerging Markets.
  • Standardize and enhance EMCCO procurement and approval process for the standard of work across each country and ensure compliance with procurement policies, and legal and compliance guidelines.
  • Advise the team members and resolve any issues related to the procurement-to-pay process, as required.
  • Interface and engage with key stakeholders and vendors to triage any deviations from original contracts to enhance business outcomes and avoid overcharging.
  • Work with procurement to set the vendors on the system and assure contracts are legal and compliant in the country they are being set up.
  • Work close with Finance to track A&P executions and POs invoicing and to prepare the report needed for EM CCO OPEX budget execution
  • Ensure clear, effective communication exists between all parties involved.
  • Work with the EMCCO team to implement and maintain an efficient and effective procurement process and contribute to the optimization of marketing investments.
  • Functional expert and support to EMCCO on Ariba functionality and financial A&P reporting.
  • Work with internal functional experts, to implement and document various procurement/contracting team strategies and operational improvement efforts
  • Support the analytical requirements, including but not limited to: category spends and supplier analysis, vendors and SoWs data management

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create a process to centralize all PO creation in the countries where the EM CCO team operate, including countries in LATAM, EM Asia and AfME.
  • Coordinate the vendor creation in each country required for Emerging Markets Commercial Organization, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Manage ePay and purchase orders through Ariba system and track invoices as needed
  • Validate all invoices against the contract and triage any deviations with each vendor
  • Act as a point of advice and expertise for procurement core compliance questions and liaise with the compliance organization
  • Analyze vendor usage and work across procurement to find opportunities to generate savings.
  • Accountable for workload planning activities to ensure optimal service levels as per pre-defined KPIs
  • Submit and follow up the ACM compliance projects with HCP/HCOs and execute payment of these activities within approved timelines

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience required, with direct experience working in procurement, finance or related roles in healthcare/pharma preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment
  • Service oriented, highly collaborative, self-motivated and results oriented
  • Good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. Fluent English a must.

  • Archival and indexing of critical and non-critical physical records including processing, maintaining and tracking document collections. In addition, provides guidance on assisting customers with record searches and retrieval requests.
