The Scheduler, Specialty Solvents is responsible for supporting all elements of the Solvents order-to-cash process while delivering materials on time and maintaining customer relationships. This involves working with internal and external stakeholders including customers, Sales, Transportation, Finance, and Refining.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Providing daily customer service to Solvents accounts, acting as front-line contact for issue resolution
  • Managing customer purchase orders and reviewing customer requirements
  • Determining validity of orders, verifying compliance with the master data that governs the transaction
  • Verifying that orders meet established shipping guidelines and advising customer if changes are needed
  • Validating invoice to customer delivery paperwork to verify product, quantity, and pricing are correct
  • Scheduling and building orders, coordinating time and shipment details with terminals and refineries and, when necessary, determining best shipping location for product sourcing needs
  • Managing order changes or cancellations
  • Communicating with Credit Department for release or hold of orders
  • Determining capability of meeting customer special instruction requests, entering and/or updating information directly into SAP
  • Communicating with other departments, ensuring customer requirements are met
  • Preparing and sending response letters for blanket purchase order acknowledgements
  • Tracking all orders to ensure delivery is made on time and customer is invoiced
  • Advising Technical Group of data requests affecting customer specifications
  • Confirming customer setup information in SAP master data has been entered accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintaining customer files and all associated records
  • Resolving all post-sale inquiries such as pricing, logistics and shipping documentation issues
  • Fulfilling on-call responsibility on a weekly rotation for emergency requests, handling the call to resolution and completing an on-call report the next business day

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The Warehouse Analyst role is responsible for the replenishment of Warehouse inventory and providing guidance, analysis and support related to the Materials Management processes for Bayway Refinery.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Managing stock replenishment requirements including coordination of stock repairs with buyers/end-users.
  • Supporting and contributing to the site Procurement agenda by applying advanced inventory management analytical tools and techniques.
  • Communicating openly and with integrity with business stakeholders to align direction between Procurement and site strategy.
  • Networking and developing working relationships with a variety of stakeholders across site Procurement teams and business groups.
  • Influencing key business stakeholders regarding results of inventory management analysis.

  • Backfill for Warehouse Supervisor when needed.

Materials Management Responsibilities:

  • Daily review of stock replenishment requirements.
  • Coordinating of stock repairs with buyers and end users.
  • Administering changes to inventory setting upon request.
  • Troubleshooting issues related to Materials Management systems and data.
  • Working with Master Data Management team to update material master data.
  • Assisting end users with the set-up of new stock/non-stock material masters in SAP.
  • Performing inventory and stock analysis to identify continuous improvement opportunities such as vendor managed inventory, dead/excess stock reduction, and inventory/stock optimization.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Basic/Required:

The Bayway Refinery is located on the New York Harbor in Linden, New Jersey. Bayway’s facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, solvent deasphalting, hydrodesulfurization and alkylation units. The complex also includes a polypropylene plant with the capacity to produce up to 775 million pounds per year. The refinery processes mainly light and medium, low-sulfur crude oil. Foreign crude oil is supplied to the refinery by tanker, and domestic crude oil is supplied through a combination of rail and marine transportation. Within the refinery, Phillips 66 Partners has a rail receiving facility with 75,000 BPD of offloading capacity. The refinery produces a high percentage of transportation fuels, as well as petrochemical feedstocks, residual fuel oil and home heating oil. Refined products are distributed to East Coast customers by pipeline, barge, rail car and truck.

Description

The Phillips 66 Hartford Lubricants Plant is in Hartford, IL. The Hartford Lubricants plant produces a wide range of motor oils, transmission fluids, turbine oils, hydraulic fluids, and other lubricants. The Plant receives base oil feed stock and additives via barge, railcars, and trucks. These feedstocks are offloaded into storage tanks. From the storage tanks, the base oil and additives are sent through computerized batch blenders and inline blenders to produce a finished product. The finished product is then sent to our package lines where automatic filling systems and conveyors place it into bottles, drums, and other containers. The finished product is then shipped out via trucks and rail to customers. We provide a safe and environmentally responsible workplace and have a positive impact on the local community. Operations are run 24 hours per day, with Terminal Operators assigned to the day, evening, or night shift Monday through Friday with occasional work on weekends.

This is a union represented position.

Responsibilities May Include

The Material Handler uses a forklift to safely load and unload package trucks across our dock, to move inventory to different locations in our warehouse, and to take finished material from the production lines back to its inventory storage location. All P66 employees must demonstrate a commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality goals.

Demonstrate Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) due diligence at all times.

Receiving, shipping, and moving materials and supplies around the plant, either manually or by mechanical means.

Offloading, inspecting, auditing, and approving receipt of incoming raw materials to ensure timely and accurate stock and cost accounting.

Performing necessary equipment adjustments to maximize production, safety, and quality.

Loading finished product on transport trailers, in a safe and efficient manner to ensure timely deliveries and optimize customer service.

Organizing and maintaining raw material inventory to ensure adequate stock and operating flexibilities.

Performing cycle counting as necessary to ensure accurate raw material inventory.

Interface with material management computer system (SAP), which includes printing production picklist and production blend data, and be able to use the BAR CODE scanner interface.

Communicate effectively with co-workers and external drivers during the shift and at shift relief regarding key process and equipment information.

Willingness to adapt to schedule changes and/or overtime as needed to meet the customer demand.

Ability to work any assigned shift.

Capability to operate a forklift.

Committing to and support the HSEQ policies and procedures.

Committing to and provide support for the goals and vision of the Hartford Leadership Team.

Maintaining housekeeping in respective area.
