As an Accountant Senior within PNC’s Finance organization, you may be based remotely within PNC’s footprint. For this role, SQL, data analysis, proficient in Excel, and attention to detail is preferred! Also management experience is preferred, but not required.

• Daily and quarterly production of Single Counterparty Credit Limits (SCCL) reports
• Reconcilement of daily and quarterly schedules
• Use of SQL to analyze data
• Work closely with the Technology team to identify defects, resolves issues, coordinate releases, and test defects/system changes
• Identify opportunities for automation and work with Technology and management to implement solutions
• Communicate information to Senior Management

For this role, SQL and technical experience is a MUST.

  • Supports the organization’s accounting activities, including financial record keeping and reporting.
  • Prepares, analyzes, and maintains records of organization’s financial activity in accordance with GAAP, organizational standards, and in compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
  • Creates and evaluates reports on financial performance for internal and external use. Interacts with all levels of an organization in determining content and summarizing data for management. .
  • Completes month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to foreign exchange, cash management and tax, including preparing the appropriate audit work papers for such activities.
  • Supports and assists junior accounting staff in the development of their professional skills.

This position is part of the Lending Sales and Performance Analytics department. As a Business Analytics Consultant Senior, you will be responsible for management of user dashboards and support of analytics tools, assisting management teams with any questions about data, understanding the results, etc. You will also have a hand in deep dive analytics, including projections and forecasting. In addition, you will be heavily involved in presenting analytic results in a monthly forum with our retail and lending partners, where you will help prepare presentations as well as present to senior leadership technical analytics that are found.
Due to the nature of this position, we are seeking out candidates who have a strong understanding of analytics in a consumer lending setting. Experience in Tableau preferred. We also require strong presentation and communications skills as you will be heavily involved in monthly leadership meetings.

As a Data Scientist within PNC’s Independent Risk Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH or anywhere within the PNC footprint.

Specific skills deaired include:
• Strong knowledge and experience with Linux
• 3-5 years experience with python and/or R
• Knowledge of data science and statistics
• Ability to solve technical problems creatively and independently
• Able to document specific tasks for educating users
• Experience with PySpark and/or SparklyR
• Experience with DataRobot or DataBricks in the cloud a plus

  • Performs analytical tasks on vast amounts of structured and unstructured data to extract actionable business insights.
  • Participates in the data gathering, data processing and data mining of large and complex datasets.
  • Develops algorithms using advanced mathematical and statistical techniques like machine learning to predict business outcomes and recommend optimal actions to management.
  • Runs analytical experiments in a methodical manner to find opportunities for product and process optimization. Assists in the presentation of business insights to management using visualization technologies and data storytelling.
  • May partner with Data Architects, Data Analysts, Data Engineers and Visualization Experts to develop data-driven solutions for the business.
