The Royal Caribbean Group’s Finance Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Sr. Manager, Corporate Planning.

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.

Position Summary:

This position supports the VP of Corporate and Capital Planning and executive leadership as the financial liaison for modeling, liquidity, and strategic planning. Provides detailed financial analysis to senior management for all entities under Royal Caribbean Group while delivering analytics on current and historical financial performance to support forecasts and long-range projections. Leads team of analysts in delivering scenario planning for investing and financing decisions as well as long term financial projections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Liquidity, Balance Sheet Forecasting and Cash Flow Modeling
  • Manage and organize work for team responsible with liquidity model updating process including scheduled weekly actualizations, forward looking assumption updates, and monthly/quarterly reporting needs from both a business and audit perspective.
  • Manage coordination with members of finance organization to assess liquidity impact of initiatives and special projects.
  • Manage liquidity impact of multiple financing and investing scenarios to communicate with senior management.
  • Implement modeling enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Deliver management reports to clearly communicate actual results, trends, opportunities, and alternative scenarios.
  • Present liquidity position monthly to senior leadership with a focus on going concern assessment, refinancing opportunities, and incremental liquidity needs.
  • Lead the development and packaging of financial presentations for quarterly board of director meetings and quarterly earning calls.
  • Manage analysis of the Balance Sheet as part of the business improvement process, by incorporating balance sheet statements into financial planning system.
  • Manage balance sheet forecast process, including coordination with finance organization to ensure timely inputs and analysis

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting from a 4-year university
  • CFA or CFA Candidate a must
  • Master’s degree in finance, MBA preferred
  • 7+ years progressive experience in financial management at a large corporation
  • 4+ years leading, coaching, mentoring direct reports
  • Expert level skills in financial modeling
  • Resourceful self-starter with excellent written & verbal executive level communication skills
  • Effective collaborator and relationship builder with sound interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences
  • Capable of making independent decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including technical and business writing.
  • Ability to work in complex matrix environments.
  • Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Enterprise Planning Management, Hyperion Brio, JD Edwards World, Oracle Database.
  • Advanced in use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications.
  • Solid understanding of accounting rules
  • Aptitude for translating complex, technical subjects into clear, business-oriented communications
  • Accepts accountability and manages execution of individual and team results at corporate and divisional level
  • Demonstrates a wide degree of creativity with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge and experience in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures, including project and resource management

Position Summary:

Provides advanced administrative support to the VP, HR Operations. Prepares general administrative, financial and executive reports, notices, minutes, resolutions, etc. Acts as a liaison between our executives and other internal and/or external executives, as well as with vendors, institutions, companies, media, general public, company departments, and employees. Researches and analyzes information, as well as oversees and coordinates communication and information for report generation.  Oversees supply budget and cost containment of administration group. Coordinate and supports other special projects and company initiatives. Organizes and keeps all corporate confidential documents and records and acts as a custodian of the materials/information.

Manages phone calls and daily calendar for executive, schedules and coordinates all executive meetings, conference and events for executives to attend. Schedules and makes all travel arrangements for executive. Completes all travel expense reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides advanced administrative support to the VP, HR Operations, understanding the executive business needs and coordinating all aspects of his/her agenda including the necessary arrangements for meetings, conferences, travel, events, etc. addressing, negotiating, and making decisions about general issues, expenses and internal financial/budget inquires with other executives and departments as well as with vendors.
  • Prepares general administrative, financial and executive reports, notice, minutes & resolutions, etc. for executives, executive committee and/or board committee meetings, collecting, compiling and performing some analysis to consolidate budget numbers, expenses, invoices, and other company general information and/or indicators, evaluating alternatives to better formalize charts, tables, presentations, as well as to compose text documents, messages, communications, etc.
  • Acts as a liaison between our executives and other internal or external executives, as well as with vendors, institutions, companies, media, general public, company departments, and employees, identifying and evaluating business needs and priorities, discussing agenda, handling specific sensitive and confidential information and requests, discussing and/or negotiating alternatives and coordinating the actions to accommodate each request.
