Position Summary:

The Sr Financial Analyst is responsible for the financial planning, analysis, review of actual expenditures, governance, and reporting of one or more Information Technology projects.   The responsibilities include review of initial and updated budgets, actual expenditures, and projections of future spend.  Specifically, budgets include labor hours, rate, and mix, as well as goods and services provided by third parties. The position is expected to display considerable initiative, independent judgment, and leadership skills in performing financial activities such as planning and forecasting, analysis, project assessments, preliminary cost estimates, and governance.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain financial plans and forecasts (including spending curves), ensuring all project requirements and objectives are properly documented and budgeted.
  • Prepare financial analysis for each project and report findings on a timely manner, ensuring that risks and issues are reviewed and resolved in collaboration with internal and external constituents.
  • Interact frequently with CAR Managers and IT Leadership to ensure timely and accurate project plans and forecasts.
  • Ensure all aspects of a project comply with corporate policies and procedures, including proper Capital Project.
  • Approvals for new and amended initiatives as well as proper capitalization of expenses
  • Provide support, guidance, and training on the financial aspects of a project to the respective project team members.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for Corporate Accounting and Capital Planning as required.
  • Ad-hoc analysis of capital projects, expenditures, and project scope, as required.
  • Audit capital projects for compliance.  Communicate concerns to Sr. Manager, Finance.
  • Actively participate in the development and update of the Capital plan.
  • Develop and implement I.T. financial procedures and standards as needed.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of staff and non-labor resources.
  • Review project scheduling and resource allocation output.
  • Review and approve CAR related journal entries prepared by Financial Analyst.
  • Identify expense optimization opportunities.

Qualifications/Education/Knowledge/Skills:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Trade Automation Specialist is responsible to support the developing and delivering automation training initiatives to travel agencies in North America with the objective to increase automation targets and adoption for sales and service.

The Trade Automation Specialist is accountable for increasing the overall percentage of trade bookings made through electronic distribution tools by developing Sales plans* to reduce calls into the call center for sales and service. The Specialist will work with the Sr. Web Analyst to develop reports by account to track performance, automation growth and training effectiveness based on pre-defined targets. The training programs consist of automation across a variety of booking tools such as Espresso, Sabre, Amadeus, Travel Port and third-party technology systems such as Revelex.  The Specialist will review and monitor the success of the programs with an emphasis on results from training key accounts. The Specialist may support other training efforts including developing training material, and/or supporting various Sales events. Maintains relationships with the Trade, Sales team, and other departments to leverage efforts and costs as well as working in conjunction with various other training teams. This position has primary responsibility for managing key accounts with the objective to driver higher automation utilization across the various distribution systems. *(These strategies are collectively derived from corporate objectives and feedback from market intelligence, travel agent surveys, focus groups, sales feedback, customer support activity and ongoing review of metrics.).

This position is Located in Miami, Florida.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates and conducts training programs, webinars and/or the appropriate training platform to educate travel agents on automation with the objective to increase adoption/conversion for sales and service.
  • Performs skill assessment to determine automation skill needs at the travel agent level and then develops/tailors automation training programs specific to the agent needs.
  • Creates a comprehensive training calendar targeting key accounts in their territory(s).
  • Customizes approach to audience (front-line agents, owners, managers) as well as tailors messaging to the channel of distribution (home based, on line or retail).
  • Responsible for working with the training teams on opportunities to expand and deliver the automation training curriculum/program to all travel agencies in their assigned territory. The Specialist will also work with the training team to ensure the content for CruisingPower.com and Espresso is up-to-date on Royal Caribbean’s educational platform.
  • Identifies and recommends new training policies or programs based on knowledge of identified training needs, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services.
  • Communicates, tracks and reports records of training sessions and automation growth. Analyze return on training (ROT) metrics to monitor account performance pre/post training.
  • Organizes and maintains a reference library or resource for training manuals, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials in both hard and soft copies.
  • Manages execution of all elements of projects to assure on time, on budget, and delivery within agreed upon quality parameters to achieve desired results.
  • Ensures that a feedback and monitoring process is in place for all training, ensuring effectiveness and quality of results.
  • Confers with internal departments to determine effective utilization of training, proper scheduling and applications of training and scope of training needs and initiatives relating to digital strategies and goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required. Concentration in Training, OD, or HR preferred.
  •  Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Sales Training, a related training field, or training design/delivery.
  • Minimum of 2 years curriculum development experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent presentation skills and experience presenting in front of large audiences. Travel Required:  Up to 80%.  Position is Miami- based and will require extensive travel through the US and Canadian territories.
  • Certification:  Professional training certification preferred.

Position Summary:

Based in Miami, FL and reporting to the Senior Manager or Manager, Product Development, the Senior Product Owner, Product Development will be responsible for translating the product vision into the various briefs, documents and working sessions aligning every stakeholder and partner to ensure that whatever product or experience the Product Owner is assigned is brought to life as an amazing and uniquely Royal Caribbean International vacation product.

The Senior Product Owner will run day to day point over the execution of new concepts, experiences, activities, dedicated spaces, and programming for Royal Caribbean International. This person will drive various strategic rollout efforts on new ships, modernization efforts for our existing fleet or private destinations. This role will touch all the elements of the guest experience, from brief, through design and execution ensuring that concepts are brought to life in line with the strategic goals and with a full understanding of feasibility (operational and construction). To be successful, the Product Owner must work collaboratively with other teams including Product Innovation, Operations, Newbuild, Design, Marketing, Digital, Sales, Risk Management and Revenue Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support for the strategic direction of the product/experience. Ensures alignment between all stakeholders and partners throughout the product development process.
  • Work with Consumer Insights on ways to bring forward the voice of the consumer and deliver products that resonate with guests.
  • Partner and collaborate closely with key stakeholders from the various departments across the organization to adapt and evolve the strategy as necessary.
  • Provides day to day product vision and support for all partners and stakeholders ensuring that the products being created for Royal Caribbean International are viable, feasible and desirable for our guests. In addition, the Senior Product Owner must be a highly collaborative team player connecting various disciplines from the brand, Newbuild and all partners to ensure a successful delivery.
  • Ensure that concepts are marketable, drive guest satisfaction and ultimately drive revenue.
  • Lead aspects of design and execution to continually enhance our products.
  • Create stories (in the form of presentations) outlining the product direction to help partners and stakeholders stay aligned and focused on the key priorities.
  • The Sr Owner is ultimately responsible for helping our partners prioritize appropriately to ensure that final delivery of the product realizes our strategic vision and brings to life the desired experience for our guests.
  • Communicate changes, updates in direction or priority shifts to cross functional teams while keeping Product Managers up to speed on progress.
  • Work closely with operations and design teams on run of show events to showcase programming and ensure the guest experience will be delivered on strategy/vision.
  • Create startup plans and training materials to ensure each concept/experience is flawlessly executed.
  • Work closely with Newbuild and other architectural/design/construction partners to ensure physical products meet brand expectations.
  • Leverage data from Insights & Analytics to help inform development of the product.
  • Helps maintain and share our Royal Caribbean International “experience DNA”, so that the product development standards, practices and experience design guidelines are consistent across all products, projects and teams.
  • Help share experience guidelines to ensure Creative Agencies, Operations and Newbuild teams (along with new hires within the team) have the needed information to design and build venues that deliver against our desired guest experience.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Minimum 4-6 years in a product, design or other similar role developing experiences for consumers
