Responsibilities

  • Lead pricing and packaging strategy and drive growth strategies for one of the key business units.
  •  Provide in-depth analysis on product adoption, customer maturity model, migration strategy, product transitions, upsell and cross-sell strategies.
  •  Drive quantitative pricing and customer research, including conjoint studies, economic value drivers and customer value perception interviews.
  • Define product metering, license entitlement, and compliance policy and drive all associated business requirements for subscription management enablement.
  •  Build world-class go-to-market readiness and enablement for all major product releases.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required

  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, product strategy, product management, and business operations with 4+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS pricing.
  • Highly analytical and able to distill complex dataset into insights and recommendations.  Can tell a business-centric story using data.
  • Collaborate and partner effectively with key stakeholders and leadership.
  • Have executive presence, strong communication and business acumen; excellent presentation and written skills are a must.
  •  A creative thinker with insatiable curiosity, meticulous attention to details, and excellent organization skills on follow through.
  •  Superior Excel skills.  Experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Power BI) and building dashboards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, economics, or other quantitative disciplines.
  • MBA degree strongly preferred.

As a member of the Corporate Strategy team, this role will focus on the major opportunities to advance our Global Go-to-market efforts.  Directly reporting to the Head of Global Sales Strategy, this role will serve as thought leader and business partner to senior leaders within the Global Go-to-market organization.

You will be expected to be player and coach – rolling up your sleeves to get work done while also structuring workstreams and providing guidance to others. You are expected to be able to drive work cross-functionally across the entire go-to-market organization in support of C-suite priorities. And you should be a trusted advisor to Global Go-to-market Leadership Team.

In this role you will work on highly complex problems and help senior leaders and the executive team to organize, prioritize and execute their strategic agenda. Examples of past projects include: defining and launching Customer Success, defining Global Alliances and Channels Strategy, establishing global market priorities and corporate service levels, re-segmenting our global sales coverage model, aligning and accelerating our global vertical efforts, launching new markets, and creating the board-reviewed, annual 3-year GTM strategy from which annual priorities – like several mentioned above – are derived.

Preferred candidates will have not only several years of top-tier management consulting experience; but also, considerable go-to-market operating experience within Enterprise Software or Technology.
 

What You Get To Do In This Role

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • 8+ years of work experience (or 3+ years post-MBA or equivalent higher-degree), preferably in management consulting, private equity, tech strategy/ops function or similar, and 1+ years leadership experience. Preferred candidates will have a combination of consulting and operating experience working with Sales teams
  • Must have experience working on go-to-market or sales related strategic and operational topics
  • Software industry domain expertise, and the ability to understand complex technology problems
  • Experience working on large strategic initiatives from framing the problem, conducting research / analysis, building business and operational plans, and driving execution through to success; ability to multitask
  • Strong communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing; comfort in business and technical discussions
  • Effective at building relationships, collaborating, and influencing others; experience working with senior executives across various geographies and functions
