Responsibilities are

  • Provide leadership and management to a team of data engineers
  • Manage your time to coach, guide and review their designs and solution approach
  • Create a vision for your department to up-skill the team and scale data management layer
  • Define the processes needed to achieve operational excellence in data analytics area
  • Build cross-functional relationships with IT, Product Managers other BA in the organization
  • Drive the design, building, and launching of new data models
  • Define and manage SLAs for all data sets and processes – manage dev-ops reporting team

  • Change oriented. Must have proven track record to motivate change across a diverse organization in a positive and motivating manner.
  • Experience leading large teams through influencing skills and creation of value
  • Inspirational leader with the ability to influence and make difficult decisions
  • Expert in SQL and database architecture/design

Bonus Points:

  • 12 years of proven experience in large scale system implementations
  • Experience in Financial Service and/or Banking
  • Familiar with any other programming languages

• You will contribute to research projects to develop intelligent solutions for medical imaging and text analytics.

• You have research experience in medical image/text analysis of different modalities (CT, MRI, PET, medical reports, etc.) (preferred).
• You have strong programming ability. Proficiency in programming using C/C++ (required) and Python (preferred).
• You have experience in dealing with big, distributed data.
Required skills to have for the success of this role
• Must be enrolled in a PhD program studying Computer Science/Engineering, Electric Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or similar.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 or better.
• Must be willing to work in a fully virtual environment if necessary, as well as be comfortable working onsite while following company-mandated COVID-19 protocol.
• Must be willing to work full time (up to 40 hours/week) during the summer, and part time (up to 20-25 hours/week) during the academic term.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, successful market leader and make a difference in healthcare by setting up our Siemens Healthineers Laboratory Diagnostics sales organization for success.  We are looking for someone who is dynamic, innovative and brings laboratory sales experience and training experience. (preferred).
As a Laboratory Diagnostics Product trainer, you will support a Best-in-Class sales team by designing, developing, delivering, and assessing the sales education journey.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assessment, Design & Development
  • Collaborate routinely with sales leadership to understand/assess training and competency needs and gaps related to our products, Siemens Healthineers business processes and the industry.
  • Collaborate with marketing and the training team/instructional designer to develop useful and impactful pre-work, trainings and assessments for new hire and legacy sales employees.
  • Leverage your training and/or sales experience in Laboratory Diagnostics to ensure relevancy.
  • Periodically reassess existing courses to ensure content is up to date, relevant and effective.
Training Delivery
  • Work with the training department administrator to schedule training programs
  • Assign pre-work for learners. Monitor progress status.
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual instructor led training programs primarily for Laboratory Diagnostic Sales and Specialty Sales roles.
  • Coordinate with subject matter expert presenters who deliver technical product training
  • Facilitate and/or support training associated with new product launches
  • Ensure accurate attendance and completion learning records
Evaluation
  • Conduct post training learner knowledge/competency assessments
  • Communicate knowledge/competency assessment outcomes to the hiring managers and mentors with recommendations for additional learning support and coaching throughout the onboarding program
  • Conduct post training course surveys with learners, hiring managers and key stakeholders to ensure training is effectively meeting business needs
  • Analyze knowledge/competency assessments and survey results.  Make recommendations for training modifications to close any performance gaps.
Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
  •  BS/BA required in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  •  3-5+ years of successful experience required in Coagulation Diagnostics Sales and/or Coagulation Product Training.
  • Some sales training experience preferred or relevant experience presenting to groups
  • Excels at building rapport and working cross-functionally, multi-tasking, organization and time management
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (e.g. Power Point) preferred
  • Knowledge and/or experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com or Oracle Sales Cloud (preferred)
Due to COVID all product training is being delivered virtually.  Post COVID, we will resume our live product training in Glasgow DE (near Philadelphia).  Trainers will spend approximately 25% of the time delivering product training in Glasgow DE with an occasional training class held at our Tarrytown NY facility.  Additional travel may include NAAM, One DX Nation or any NAM Product Launch Training.   Ideally candidate should live within driving distance of Glasgow DE and/or Tarrytown NY but not necessary.
