Overview
Supports by performing administrative services. The Office Support Specialist will be responsible for a variety of front desk clerical duties. This position will provide excellent customer service (in-person and over the phone) as well as welcome patrons to the center, resolve grievances, answer questions, and provide accurate information to customers.
Contract role for 6 months
Pay rate 18/hr
Hours
Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
One hour lunch break, M-F
Closed holidays
Responsibilities
Maintain front desk and counter organization
Provide exceptional internal and external customer service
Register participants in programs via ActiveNet software
Accept and process payments
Answer questions and address complaints
Answer incoming calls
Handle mail and packages
Respond to voicemails and emails
Keep updated records and files
Proofreading
Assist managers and supervisors as needed
Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Proven experience as front desk representative or relevant position
Familiarity with modern office equipment
Knowledge of office management
Proficient in English (oral and written) Bilingual is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
Strong communication and people skills
Good organizational and multitasking abilities
Problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills
High School diploma, general education degree, or equivalent
