Currently, we are looking to urgently fill Material Handler positions in our Warehouse and NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED! We will train you!

As a Material Handler, you will be stocking shelfs for packers, loading/offloading trucks, palletizing product and restocking the trays for the packers as they prepare an order to be shipped to one of our stores or customers. Attention to detail is required to ensure the correct item is restocked, the inbound/outbound products are placed on the proper pallet/conveyor, and all items are handled with care as the package is made ready for shipping.

  • Starting rates of pay of $14.50 per hour for 1st shift; $15.00 for the 2nd shift!
  • Overtime offered for daily and weekend shifts.

What You Do

To be successful in this role, you must enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment! We are looking for highly motivated individuals who demonstrate reliable attendance and a willingness to learn. You will be required to demonstrate excellent manual dexterity and coordination; pick/pack and build orders to be delivered to stores and customers using a hand-held scanner, ticketing machine or label maker; ability to meet or exceed production requirements daily while following all work standards.

Our ultimate goal is to exceed our customers’ expectations by delivering quality products in a timely manner. To do this, we need everyone to work together and be flexible to move to different areas in the warehouse based upon business needs. Continuous body movement and the ability to stand for long periods of time; lifting, pushing, and pulling continuously up to 50 lbs. will allow you to meet these expectations.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Some warehouse experience is preferred, but we will train you if you have no experience.
  • Acts with integrity and trust, promoting our bookselling culture and core values.
  • Basic written and verbal English communications skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic mathematical skills.

As a Bookseller, you are responsible for selling by providing exceptional customer service through our four core service principles. Essential Functions
• Deliver exceptional customer service that ensures sales and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Execute on the four core service principles: put the book in the customer’s hand, offer to order, offer the Member program, and fast cashiering.
• Greet and establish rapport with customers, proactively engaging them in conversations about our products, services and promotions to determine their needs and recommend the right products.
• Ensure all customer transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Share knowledge and enthusiasm about all our products, services, and promotions, providing a personalized experience to multiple customers at the same time.
