What You’ll Do

  • Duties/Responsibilities ·Supporting the Crew Lead and Electrician on the successful maintenance of Tesla’s solar products. · Attending weekly team meetings and mandatory training sessions on new products, best installation and maintenance practices, and standard workmanship guidelines. ·Pull inventory and ensure all materials are available to complete the job. ·Work cooperatively with a team on residential re-roofs and installing Solar Roof. ·Following building standards and codes when installing panels and support structures. ·Managing time and tasks effectively with a sense of urgency while providing an exceptional customer experience to all customers. Required Skills/Abilities ·Ability to safely handle power tools, hand tools, ladders, roofing materials along with inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment. ·Excellent problem-solving skills. ·Excellent attendance is essential for the team to achieve success. ·Travel is mandatory and will vary dependent on business needs. Employees must be able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time, several times a year to various locations within the US. ·Experience in roof work (including metal, concrete tile, clay tile, comp, shingle, or wood shake), HVAC, metal fabrication, general construction or carpentry preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements · Must be able to work at great heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders, and stairs · Must be able to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, attic etc.) · Prolonged periods of repetitious duties including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods · Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds frequently · Must meet all OSHA standards for working at heights including: · Ability to climb and utilize equipment on site including various ladders rated for a maximum capacity of 325lbs. · Must be able to meet equipment standards for fall protection (harness, anchor, ropes, etc.) with a maximum capacity of 310bs. Claims Adjuster

Tesla is looking for an experienced Claims Adjuster with the ability to communicate compassionately and effectively to resolve insurance claims. This person will also be providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, review, and interpret policies to assess coverage and liability

• Establish and maintain proper loss and expense reserves on their claims

• Determine what investigation is necessary on more complicated claims to bring a claim to an equitable conclusion for all parties involved

• Responsible for controlling the work done by the independent adjuster/appraiser

• Document, verify and review damages; evaluate and settle claims; investigate subrogation; handle total losses and process salvage returns

• Daily contact with adjusters and/or insureds and/or claimants and/or attorney and/or vendors and/or agents

• A four-year degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience

• 5 years’ experience handling claims, including advanced skills in coverage, investigation, litigation, negotiation, damage/injury evaluation, salvage, and subrogation

• Knowledge of and adherence to the state laws and regulations governing the handling of general liability claims

• Basic understanding of claims, mathematics, construction, auto physical damage, medical terms, and legal issues

• State adjuster’s license where domiciled preferred

• Non-resident adjuster’s license in the states where we do business is preferred

The Role:
The mechanical design team is creating the factory of the future by bringing conceptual designs to life, producing cutting-edge detailed design of HVAC, hydronic (chilled water and heating water), and other factory utility systems that are fully integrated with manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop design documents and deliverables in 2D and 3D using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Ensure quality model and drawing package deliverables
  • Model and produce drawings that meet the design requirements, including responsibility for such details as duct and pipe sizing, placement of equipment, central plant layouts, inter-disciplinary coordination, and detailing for construction documentation.
  • Liaise with the internal BIM team to develop and manage modeling and deliverable standards
  • Develop clash-free design models (LOD 300) in Revit and Navisworks
  • Develop fabrication-level models (LOD 400-500) for onsite assembly for certain specialty systems
  • Perform pre-design site surveys and construction phase site observations
  • Optimize pipe and duct routing and troubleshoot complex, large-scale mechanical systems
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of Computer Aided Design in the HVAC/Plumbing Industry
  • Experience as a detailed designer in Mechanical Design within a high-tech industry (semi-conductor, pharmaceutical, or industrial design experience is a plus)
  • Familiar with Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs)
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam. Experience with Pipe-Flo or Carrier HAP is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of current building codes and SMACNA
