Role Overview:

The Media Specialist is responsible for leading the development and execution of clients’ media strategies. This includes managing client relationships, creating and executing media strategy, and measuring and reporting on results. From time to time, the role assists in sales pitches for media engagements.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Media Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive media plans that align with clients’ overall goals and objectives. Conduct market research, analyze data and trends, and identify target audiences to determine the proper channel mix and mediums.

Lead Media Initiatives: Lead cross-functional teams to execute clients’ media strategies. Work closely with each team to ensure all media initiatives are executed on strategy;  including media buy, optimization, creative mediums, and reporting.

Manage Media Accounts: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand clients’ needs and goals, provide regular updates on project progress, and address any concerns or issues that arise. Renew and grow accounts.

Monitor and Analyze Media Performance: Make recommendations for improvement as needed. Track key metrics such as media reach, clickthrough rates, conversion rates and the average cost of acquisition.

Prepare and Assist in Sales Pitches: Provide insights and strategies that align with potential and existing clients’ needs, and properly position their products and services.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in search and paid advertising including social
  • Experience with programmatic display and retargeting strategies on various display advertising networks
  • Experience using Google Analytics and other data tracking tools and methods to prove ROI of digital advertising campaigns
  • Google Analytics Certified
  • Google AdWords Certified
  • Ability to think strategically and make innovative recommendations that drive client goals
  • Ability to nurture and retain client relationships
  • Strong writing, presenting, and communication skills are a must
  • Exceptional organizational skills, multitasking capabilities, and attention to detail
