Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides claims service via internal channels (phone/fax/email/mail)to members and third-party customers.
  • Adjusts low to moderately intricate Auto claims.
  • Acquires and applies basic knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance industry products, services, and processes to include P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages and the USAA claim handling process and procedures.

  • Executes horizontal assessments of key activities/processes to inform practices and highlight training opportunities.
  • Reviews results with Internal Audit Executives, Senior Audit Management and Lead Auditors as required.
  • Prepares report of QA results for management and board of director deliverables.
  • Participates in the development of relevant standards, methodologies, common audit programs, quality review programs, and other initiatives.
  • Advises the audit department on developments in QAIP matters.
  • Supports reporting on Audit Services practices and QAIP results to regulators, as required.
  • Participates in external reviews, including requests by external auditors and regulators, and manage stakeholders’ needs and expectations.
  • Researches benchmarking against best in class audit practices.

The salary range for this position is: $88,200 – $158,900*( this does not include geographic differential it may be applied based on your work location)

Primary Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience in end-to-end analysis and/or operations experience, including: requirement gathering and documentation, operational planning and forecasting, data analytics, or current/future state analysis, in direct support of business planning initiatives and optimization of business operations.
  • Proficient knowledge of a wide variety of systems coordination, process/product review initiatives and the development of management information requirements for related business functions.
  • Knowledge of business operations and systems/business requirements processes.
  • Knowledge of business analysis tools for ex:  MS Visio MS Excel, Tableau, SQL.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiar with Artemis project scheduling tools (ProjectView and CostView)

  • Proficient with Earned Value Analysis and other statistical analysis to project cost/performance and schedule performance statusing
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve issues
  • Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Simple Accounting terminology
  • Developed Software Capitalization FASB and GAAP guidance
  • Familiarity with different scheduling methodologies / Frameworks
