Full Job Description

Provides first level response, support, and resolution for customers, jobbers and dealers regarding store payment systems and hardware, merchant master records, merchant network profiles, and emergency issues. Responsible for troubleshooting, escalating, and seeking first call resolution for all issues called into the Branded Customer Technical Support Center. Resolve various issues and questions related to Valero Allocations Support.

  • Answers, resolves/redirects and documents all external and internal customer communications.
  • Troubleshoots, documents, escalates, and resolves first call / first level customer service, store systems and equipment issues.
  • Troubleshoot, document, escalate, and resolve first call / first level carrier loading issues for Valero Allocations Support.
  • Updates and maintains merchant master records using RAMS database systems and merchant network profiles using First Data’s Client Line database.
  • Maintains database using the call center problem management software.
  • Acts as immediate source of feedback to supervisor and/or manager on problem resolution and trends.
  • Processes an appropriate written/verbal response to customer communications carrying the issue from inception to resolution.
  • Provides first call resolution on incoming store systems and equipment issues whenever possible.
  • Distributes and receives retrieval requests on a daily basis.
  • Balances merchant settlement reports on a daily basis.
  • Mail out various reports on a daily basis.
  • Assigns, obtains, and sets up necessary data relative to adding new locations to the credit network and the credit card system.
This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.
Qualification
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year customer service or call center experience preferred.
  • Experience operating Point of Sale (POS) equipment preferred.

Position level and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Description

Supervises the warehouse and staff for the requisition, and maintenance of those materials and supplies critical to the most efficient operation of the refinery.  Receives, stores, issues, and accounts for inventory items necessary to operate and maintain the refinery.

  • Executes and implements systems and processes for the requisition of materials inventory and its security.
  • Completes Warehouse Inventory SOX control testing using GRC per corporate schedule.
  • Provides staff with leadership and to receives, issues, stores, inspects and documents those materials as required to satisfy the needs of the refinery.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse and related work areas.
  • Prepares department annual budget and responsible for favorable or unfavorable variances.
  • Supervises by promoting appropriate and professional relationships to interface and provides documentation with internal customers and external vendors or suppliers.
  • Requisitions those items necessary to meet minimum and maximum material requirements.
  • Works with customers and business partners to determine adjustments in inventory to insure adequate materials and supplies are on hand to fulfill their needs for a turnaround, new equipment or unit expansion projects.
  • Ensures all materials can be obtained in a timely manner and ensures adequate space is made available in the warehouse for storage.
  • Maintains employee performance evaluations, monitoring attendance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Updates and maintains all SAP Inventory Master and Data files.
  • Generates daily SAP MRP reports, purchase replacement stock, monitor inventory levels and adjusts inventory min/max accordingly.
  • Supports, as required, Purchasing, Accounting, Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering with SAP issues affecting equipment bills of materials requisition processes, purchase orders, and vendor invoices.
  • Supervises and/or conducts warehouse cycle counts.
  • Provides delivery service of incoming/outgoing freight when other delivery service is not feasible, timing is critical, or after hours.
  • Assists with the procurement and expediting items for the refinery including warehouse inventory.
  • Provides turnaround support and vacation relief as needed.
  • Follows all safety rules and procedures as established by the Company and ensures direct reports, also, comply.

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.

Qualification
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 8 years of experience in one or more of the following areas required: warehouse, inventory control, accounting, procurement, maintenance and/or refinery operations.
  • Experience in computer based purchasing and inventory required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working in a warehouse with material handling and inventory control highly preferred.
  • Experience working in a refinery environment preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred

Oversees the operation of the plant, working a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the Company.

  • Monitors use and inventories of process chemicals and supplies.
  • Reviews the operation of the plant constantly to monitor production and quality, anticipating and solving problems in a timely manner, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Participates in projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
  • Maintains adequate records of key production variables such as production volume, yield, plant uptime, utility consumption, etc., on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis, as required.
  • Participates in Quality Assurance/Quality Control program.
  • Communicates directly with QA/QC laboratory to ensure effective participation in the implementation of QA policies and procedures.
  • Samples and tests process streams as required by the QA/QC program and procedures.
  • Maintains QA/QC records.
  • Understands and interprets QA/QC results and takes appropriate action when required.
  • Participates in plant maintenance program.
  • Communicates directly with the maintenance department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
